Another reason to hate the Brits (specifically the BBC)

(Not so dear) brits,

For nearly 350 years, you ruled us, drained trillions of dollars worth of wealth from our country, indulged in numerous atrocities, and made us all suffer at every juncture. Your authoritarian policies and violent suppression have taken the precious lives of thousands of brave hearts and innocents, and we aren't going to forget that. You're a country with your hands all red in the blood of innocents of Jallianwala Bagh, and your character maligned with your colonial mindset.

You were forced to leave our motherland and were kicked out of India with the valor-filled efforts of the warriors of the Indian National Freedom Movement. Today, your economy's in shambles, your country has witnessed 3 Prime Ministers in nearly 3 months, and you indeed aren't portraying an impressive image in the global arena. We have slapped you tight by superseding you and becoming the 5th largest economy. (Yeah, I know what you're thinking. We'll, very soon, do the same in the per capita GDP as well.)

BBC, British Broadcasting Council, your govt-owned media house that has already disseminated enough filth about our country and hasn't left any stone unturned in maligning her image. This time it has come up with something even more terrible that must be condemned in the harshest of words possible. True, the 2002 Gujarat Riots, which unfortunately wreaked havoc on hundreds of families and made some thousand people lose their lives, will remain a formidable chapter in our history. But who are you to re-create a narrative dragging the PM of our country into it, that too when the hon'ble apex court of our country has exonerated him of all the charges! The Foreign Ministry has already given you a befitting response for the ill-minded game you have tried to play, but it seems like you're that dog's tail that, no matter how hard one tries, never gets straight.

UK, and BBC specifically, better work rectifying the severe lacunae in your own country. Otherwise, India already has become way better than you in many aspects, and it'll become even more. Your time has long gone. Stop living in the false impression that you will ever be able to have that kind of imperialistic mindset against our country ever again. This India isn't the same old - weak, illiterate, and poor; in fact, even after being in that sorry state, our forefathers have thrown you out of our country. So, don't even expect to take any missteps in denigrating the image of our country. Coz this time, you won't just be thrown out, but will also be punished.

(not) Yours!
