HelloGreetings of the day.So nice to see you.
As a brief intro and recap to the previous blog, let me tell you - I am an engineering student who's much more interested in philosophy than engineering subjects. I have initiated this blog to make people aware of the big mistakes I have done at that time when I was least supposed to do them. I sincerely want no one else to do the same. Also, being a well-experienced person in the field of love and relationship, I'll list the lessons I have learned and the efforts it takes to make the relationship work. Being immensely interested in writing, I'll write a number of series somewhere revolving around fantasy and real-life love stories.
IN THIS BLOG:
1. You’ll get to know advice, which could have changed my life but unfortunately, due to my poor efforts, it didn't.
2. And yes, one of the biggest lessons life has taught me.
In my last post, as I told you to do a favor, not for me. But for you only, for your success. I hope you have read a few pages of a good self-help book this morning. I know you haven’t, and it’s absolutely fine. But honestly speaking, make it a habit. It will surely contribute a lot to your success.
In the book ‘The power of habit ' by Charles Duhigg, it is clearly mentioned that habit loop revolves around the three elements - 'The cue, the routine, and the reward.'
I won’t describe much about the habit loop here. But, if you are dealing with any kind of habit-related issues this book will be a perfect pick for you.
Coming onto the most precious advice I have ever got :
When I was in Kota, preparing for JEE. My physics teacher told me “ Think as if today is the first day of your life or your journey. Leave all the despair, disappointments, and failure behind.”
Most of us, keep on thinking about our past failures, due to which we gradually ruin our present and future too. SO, FROM TODAY ONWARD, LIVE THE LIFE AS IF IT’S THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR JOURNEY. Either you’re in school, or in college or preparing for an exam, LEAVE BACK WHATEVER HAPPENED TILL DATE, WHATEVER FAILURES YOU HAVE MET WITH, and START LIKE IT IS THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR JOURNEY. Give yourself a huge cheer and start like nothing is lost with full dedication and enthusiasm. ✌
1. If you’re in College, whichever semester you’re in, how poor your previous semester grades are, how many backlogs you have. Start as if this is the first day of your college life. Start with the new charm and new excitement. Write the examination in such a way as if it’s your 1st examination in college and start your successful journey.
2. If you’re in school, preparing for boards, start your preparation today as if it is the first day of your class. Whatever your results in pre-boards or terminal tests have been. Leave them all behind. Start with day 01, start with the beginning. You gotta have sufficient time remaining.
3. If you’re preparing for national level exams like JEE, NEET, or CLAT. How much content you have missed, how many chapters you have skipped, how miserably you have performed in your coaching review tests. Forget all about it. Start as if it is your day 01 in your coaching. Start preparing all the way again for your target. You still have sufficient time left for the preparation.
Alright, now let’s come on the biggest lesson life has taught me till date :
In the population of around 1.35 billion people in India, everyone has a different point of view. It means 1.35 billion people see things with 1.35 billion points of view. No one thinks the same way you do, then for what the hellish reason you make people understand your thoughts, your opinions, and your decisions. Well, you won’t understand it until you’ll relate it to your real-life situation.
Let me give you a real-life example of the same. Consider the total number of hours you remain awake in a day, say it either 15-16 (it strictly should not be less than that, if you’re serious even a little for your career ). Now, count the total number of hours you remain absolutely happy deep inside. Alright, 14, 15, or in exceptional cases can be 16 also ???
Well, in my case it’s hardly 4-5 or even less depending upon the situation and I can bet over it, most of you people also have the same kinda figures. For what reason, we remain unhappy for such long hours?
Let me tell you the reason(s) :
1. We keep on negotiating our kith and kin to understand and accept our choices. Now, how can you make others accept what you say? Everyone has their own point of view to look at things. It's true that one will be right and one will be wrong. But one who'll be wrong will be absolutely right in his or her point of view. No one can make them understand but they themselves. So, why do you ruin your day and your time to make other people understand what you think and to prove to them that they are wrong?
2. At some places, it goes necessarily to make them accept your choice and opinion. There, try your best to make them understand but keep this in mind " YOU CAN NEVER BREAK SOMEONE ELSE'S BELIEFS ". If they still don't accept, let them go. Don't ruin your time and your day for this nonsense reason. There are already so many cues to ruin your day.
3. Try not to sacrifice your happiness and time for other people who have nothing to do with your life. If you're doing so, they are the nonsense people but you are much more... 😏
LET'S COME TO THE CONCLUSION AND ACTION PLAN :
1. Make a list of all the past disappointments that distract you from concentrating on your goals. And make yourself bold enough to let them all go.
2. Fill yourself with the same joy and happiness which you possess when you just start to do something. And keep that joy and happiness always alive irrespective of whatever situation you're in.
3. Stop wasting time and emotions on people to change their beliefs and to make them accept everything that you say or want.
IN THE NEXT BLOG :
"Beginnings are always tough", actually "very tough".
There was a day when I can't even hold the guitar properly and now.......🙂
What it needs is to hold on, to not give up.
Why the success ratio in most complicated exams or learning a new skill is so low, we'll discuss it in the next blog.
