Do you feel like you are dead-tired off constant setbacks and despairs in life? Do you feel like your relationships are getting more complicated every passing day? Do you feel like you will never be able to achieve the feat you’re aiming for? And last but the most significant - do you feel like you aren’t doing well even at the places you’re really proficient at?
If your answers to most of these
questions are a ‘lamentable yes’, then my friend…put all that lament in the bin,
turn your long face into a smiling one, give me a five and pat your back to
have successfully entered into the real battlefield of life. If you haven’t had
faced any of this before – you are a kid pal, you haven’t stepped
into the real battle yet; you better stop reading this and enjoy the utopia
you’re living in, coz, unfortunately, it won’t stay for long. But, if you have
faced or still facing them every single day, then you’re in a catch 22 position
on the battlefield. Unless you’ll prepare your cavalry, advance your weapons
and get expertise in the war tactics, you’ll face a humiliating defeat. No! you
won’t die, neither you’ll get injured or something. The rules are quite
different here - upon getting defeated, you’ll get a bagful of unpleasant gifts ranging from failure,
tears, distress, grief, and all the things you can hate!
Let us learn the war tactics today,
let us advance our weapons so that the enemies won’t be able to outpower us. But wait…how come you get into a battlefield without knowing who
your enemies are, or who you have to fight with? It’s like writing an
Engineering semester exam without knowing the syllabus (amm…unfortunately this is possible - quite common by the way, and indeed a reason for the
exorbitant rates of unemployment in young engineers). Okay, let us take another
analogy – amm…it’s like getting elected as MLA/MP without even having a minimum
level of intellect (ah…false example again). Ugh…can’t be false again, you got my
point na?!

Let me introduce you to all the enemies, mention their strengths and weaknesses. Once you’ll be aware of these, it would be easy for you to defeat them. And at last, I’ll share with you the R&D of a single ultimate weapon (kinda ‘Brahmastra’) which will alone be too good for all these enemies and will wreak havoc on their entire brigade.
- The devil named – ‘complicated relationships’:
Strengths:
a. It
snatches your concentration and focus, chops them in pieces, and throws them away.
It then becomes really hard for you to find them again, and even if you do,
they already would have become so war-trodden that they won’t be as lively and
healthy as they used to be.
b. It
has the power to ruin the rest of your relations – be it with friends, relatives, or
families. It adds gasoline to the fire of your already ruined life and usurps
all your reasons to be happy in it.
Weaknesses:
a. Ultimate
trust is the most potent weapon to easily get over this devil. Confide in
your partner that she won’t & she isn’t cheating on you (though, please
don’t overlook the real red signals), have faith in Almighty that they are
doing whatever is best for you, and ultimately have faith in yourself that the
choice you have made is not wrong. Keep all the doubts aside, get rid of all
the insecurities, and soak yourself into the divine shower of love.
b. This
devil has never won over a weapon called – ‘say it all and keep nothing in’. Whatever's brewing inside your heart, whatever you wanna say vociferously to your
partner; say it before the things get out of your hand. It may hurt you and your
relationship for few days, but without doing this and without communicating your
hearts out it will definitely take a toll on your relationships for months,
years, or for life in the worst case.

- The
ghost named – 'Low self-esteem'
Strengths:
a. This
ghost is so bloody fearful that it will make you afraid of almost everything in
your life. You will feel formidable talking to people, getting socialized,
making new contacts, and the worst of all – even introspecting yourself. You
will never find yourself worthy of doing a job. You will always feel like you
don’t deserve the success, continuously doubt and assign a low value to yourself.
This all will play a foul game with your life and eventually, you’ll perform
below-average even in the things you really are excellent at.
b. It
tampers your confidence, pushes it to extremely low levels, and makes your personality
so damn peculiar (obviously in a negative sense). It’s said that ‘the first
impression is the last impression’, but this ghost will make sure that along
with the first, it will ruin your entire image and personality for long. No matter
how bad you’ll try to sweep your filthy charisma down the carpet, it’ll find
ways to expose its ugly face. Your social and public life gets ruined
completely. Making a dent in the hearts of people is one thing, in fact, you will
ruin their day with your sadistic face.
Weaknesses:
a. There
is a pill called ‘Positive affirmation’, which you will have to take at least every
half-an-hour (or every minute if you are really badly affected by this). The
moment you take the dose, it starts showing its effects promptly. Say, you
think you will not be able to crack an exam you are preparing for, then you
just have to keep on taking the pills of the brand – “I will crack it in the
first attempt”. As soon as few doses of the same will enter your body, you
will get enough power to get rid of the ghost and there will be absolute high
chances that you actually will crack it and no one will believe – even you,
yourself!
b. Solitude
is the tantrum that will have enough power to exonerate you off the evil
spirit of this ghost. You must know the difference between solitude and
loneliness. I am not at all saying that you will have to lone yourself from the
world and break contact with all your well-wishers. What I am saying is (and
what I have experienced in the last few years), there are very few or maybe no true
well-wishers (parents are default exception by the way) in the times we are
living in, and it’s quite common. Thus, the best you can do is to separate your
ways from all (toxic people) who diminish your self-esteem even more. It’s way better
to be alone, rather than be in a bad company that keeps nudging you that you just
aren’t worthy enough.

- The fierce warrior called ‘past’ agony
and future’s worry’:
- The fierce warrior called ‘past’ agony and future’s worry’:
Strengths:
a. This
is one of the most difficult warriors to fight with. It’s full of valor and is
so strong that it has made itself almost invincible. The worst it does is - it
steals your present, makes it even worse than your past, and makes your future
even more disappointing. It takes smile off your face and puts a permanent expression
of sorrow on it. Even when you try to smile or laugh, sorrow shows its ugly face
first and the lil, fake smile somehow gets camouflaged behind it.
b. It
raises anxiety and stress levels to exceptionally high levels, which
eventually pulls you into the death trap called depression. And depression…ah,
this word only gives me chills (I will tell you my daunting depression's story someday). It pushes you
into a grievous labyrinth, from which you’ll die, but won’t find a way out. And
even if you’ll somehow, you’ll have to spend a handsome amount of money and time in
the rehabilitation.
Weakness:
a. There
unfortunately are very few technologies that have invented weapons to help you conquer this. The invention you will have to use is the machine called ‘keep
yourself busy and moving’. Yes, you heard it right! It’s a technology that
definitely can help you win over this warrior. This works on the principle that
you just have to keep yourself enough busy in the present that you find no time
dwelling on the past or future. Use this and see yourself breaking the shackles of
past and future.
b. Every
time you feel like this warrior is challenging you on the battlefield, to
weaken him and to show him your sturdiness and braveness start paying attention
to all your senses. Do it through conventional meditation you are well wired with,
or an alternate form of it i.e. getting dexterous in your ‘touch’ sense. To say
the least, feel the phone you are holding in your hand, or your fingers on the
keyboard, feel your feet touching the floor and your buttocks kissing the bed/chair/couch.
If you find it hard to sit and meditate the conventional way, practice this
alternate form and it will add glitter and cheer to your dull and lull life.
Learn the treasures of ichi-go ichi-e and carpe diem to cherish this very moment even more.
Although, there are tens of enemies
on the battlefield of life, as it’s a psychologically proven fact that ourbrain works in triads. It really loves to do things in a pair of three. So, let me
stop myself here only. Also, if you will learn to win over these three enemies,
you anyways are winning half the battle.
Now, for winning the battle fully, as I told you at the beginning that I’ll share the R&D of the ultimate weapon with which you’ll be able to fight the entire brigade of enemies in one go. Hold your nerves and take a deep breath!!!! Here it is – ‘Self-control and Self-motivation is the ultimate solution to almost all the obstacles in your life'. It may sound subtle and obvious, but these really are the most crucial skills to get victory in each and every battle of life - no matter how tough, or seemingly impossible! To cut a long story short, you need not watch hundreds of motivational videos or read tens of self-help books… “they’ll never help you much unless you’ll change yourself within” (in fact, surprisingly, this exactly is what the crux of 90% of those videos and books is). I am not saying at all that you need to stop reading or watching them. What I want to emphasize is, they alone won’t (will never, to be more precise) make you powerful enough to fight the entire brigade of enemies and win the ultimate battle of life. To win it and win it big…you will have to do personal R&D of this weapon and develop it in your own way. Though it will take quite some time for you to get accustomed to it, once you’ll - your life will change and you won’t have to fight with those enemies individually anymore.
Last but not least,
the battles will never stop in life, but, post-learning these tactics you’ll conquer
them all.
Wishing you a dominant success in all the battles to come,
See you soon!
Stay safe...
