The Rivers of Tears, Mountains of Broken Dreams, and Cacophony of Screams

I guess you must have gone through the times of malaise civilians, including women & children are going through in the recent Israel-Hamas (indirectly including many other nations) war. Don’t know whether the bone-chilling stills from the war zone have done the same to you, but I have lost my sleep & peace since the very day. The terrorists have ripped apart the bodies of anyone and everyone who has come in their ways, and have proudly flaunted it publicly in front of the entire world.

The ugly Game of Power between the nations will hardly ever end, the hatred towards others’ religion and ethnicity will just keep on increasing, and the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocents will keep on getting ruined. Humans – the best creation of the Almighty will leave no stone unturned to prove themselves as the worst; the governments instead of sacrificing a bit on their relentless desire for power and prioritizing the happiness of well-being of their citizens will keep on dragging them into the times of doom; and the terrorists will keep on getting emboldened and becoming more violent and apathetic due to the ill-planned and the mismanaged efforts from the countries.

When the women & children will mercilessly get raped and their bodies pierced; when the human body be treated as a commodity for quenching the thirst of monstrous fantasies; when the weapons be bought and sold as daily groceries; when the people will get drowned into the ocean of grief and no one will pay heed to their unbearable sufferings: mind you, one day, not just the victims, but the entire world will get down to its knees and will get handicapped from its very soul.

As long as the never-ending penchant and pathological obsession towards money, power, fame, region, religion and culture won’t heal, a huge population and especially the pure souls who will have nothing to do with the conflicts & wars will keep on suffering terribly. Should people be imparted wisdom, instilled moral lessons, and taught the true essence of life; the universe won’t become a happening place to live. Heinous crimes, fundamentalism, and terrorism will keep showing their ugly faces and carry away all the cheer and peace from people’s lives under the deluge of their ghastly and harrowing acts of dread and vile. And as they say, ‘time heals almost everything’, this, unfortunately, won’t get healed, rather, just increase to tragically higher levels with time.

May peace prevail, no innocent soul suffer, and the world become a safe place to live.
