I dream of an India where the truly deserving candidates/students/professionals don’t find their wings clipped under the shackles of ANY form of reservation and aren’t forced to compromise at inferior positions to those savoring ‘unrequired’ and ‘undeserving’ fruits of reservation.
I dream of an India where the ‘roadside Romeos’ (and the ‘streetside Juliets’) treat the opposite gender with respect, and don't indulge in practises denigrating the dignity of any individual. Neither any man barges into a woman's personal space, nor any woman hurls false sexual accusations against a man.
I dream of an India where the people are sensitized enough that no victim of crime, tragedy, or accident is left abandoned on roads, and is given steadfast support and all-possible help by the passers-by.
I dream of an India which does climb up the ladder in the global GDP chart and reach to the apex; but more importantly, takes top positions in the indices like Per Capita Income and Human Development Index as well.
I dream of an India where children don’t get their childhood ruined under the deluge of their parental/societal/or governmental downs; and don’t fall into the vicious trap of any form of external world's lacunae.
I dream of an India where the media houses only give space to quality factual news that ‘actually matters’, avoid giving toxic spin, and refrain from petty, biased, controversial, and promoted news stories.
I dream of an India where the opposition criticizes the government initiatives only on a constructive and rational basis, instead of obstinately crying foul over every single initiative being taken by them. Also, an India where instead of merely focusing on winning the elections 'by appeasement or by violence', the political parties first aim towards promoting overall development of the country.
I dream of an India where trees and forests aren’t cut, and biodiversity of a region is not ravaged citing developmental works (especially in the fragile geographical terrains and biodiversity hotspots). In case, when it really needs to be done, allowed ONLY if the same is FIRST getting restored at a substitute location.
I dream of an India where the students excel in their studies or whichever fields they are pursuing education in. Also, an India where the levels of college/university examination in the graduation are such that not a single ‘non-serious’ student is made to pass the exams, and gifted with the valuable degrees that he/she doesn’t deserve.
I dream of an India which is a little bit cooler and is aloof from extreme weather events – for which the onus first lies on each one of us to cut down on our own carbon footprint.
I dream of an India where there is inter-faith, inter-caste, inter-class, and inter-ethnicity harmony; and no political party, civil society, or an opinion leader is allowed to provoke masses and incite violence.
Last but certainly not the least, I dream of an India where people treat the present time's latest technology in the world – i.e. the Artificial Intelligence (AI) with utmost sensibility, and do not compromise and sacrifice their own creative skills of writing and designing by madly falling in love and excessively relying on the AI.
