If expressing legitimate concerns, offering constructive criticism, and lodging a rational protest against the dwindling state of affairs is a stern no-no, what unparalleled liberty do we really talk about?
There's nothing more reprehensible than an independent writer's thoughts being controlled, words censored, voice muted, and emotions crushed. We must not forget that ferociously raising one's voice or penning down a factual piece against injustice, the ills of the system, and the mistreatment of the vulnerable, obviously within the guardrails of the law & modesty, is a right, how beautiful, enshrined in the Constitution of India. It even carries the potential to lay the mountains of greed, arrogance, and misrule to ruins.

When a single article or a reasonable counterargument prompts those cowards, sycophants, and the spineless to label you as an advocate of a particular ideology, discredit your sensible views, create an atmosphere of indirect control, and ultimately exhort you to tread a skewed & problematic path of caution, serious days lie ahead for all of us.
Nonetheless...quite unfortunately, a slow & suffocating strangulation of thought, expression, or the pen will never just affect the victim; in the long run, will push the larger society into a regressive dark hole, only to be lost in the shadows of fear, typical conformity, and intellectual decay.
