Hello dear friends
In my previous blog post, I expressed my views over what is more
important 'money or happiness'. I also told you the stories of two of my close peers,
Puneet and Jay. Today, I am up with few words of compliment for one of the most well-known
writers of India – Mr Chetan Bhagat for his latest book ‘The girl in room 105’.
It was Friday morning. I just started with Chetan Sir’s
latest novel – 'The girl in room 105'. I usually don’t miss any of his novels,
and just complete them within 2-3 days after they are there in my hand. Unfortunately,
this time I got indulged in some unavoidable circumstances. Anyways I am free
now, and can’t wait for any long to read it as soon as possible.
I have always been a huge fan of Chetan Sir’s novels. Either
it is ‘Five point someone, ‘A night at call center’, ‘Half girlfriend’, ‘2 states’
and the phenomenal ‘Revolution 2020’. I have read each one of the tens of
times and got the same thrill and excitement every time as if I am reading
them for the first time. Now it was time for the most awaited one – ‘The girl
in room 105’. This novel was absolutely different from his previous ones. It
wasn’t only a novel but like a fully cast movie. The teaser trailer of the
novel was so amazing that it gave me Goosebumps. The perfect story with a perfect
cast and the perfect dialogues as always. Chetan sir, you are really amazing. The
way you play with the characters is something beyond phenomenal. I am having a deep
interest in reading books. And I am usually fond of reading self-help and self-development
books, but when it comes to your novels, I never miss any. Because they aren’t
only a novel, but a perfect blend of self-help, adventure, thrill, mystery, and
the most important- Love and relationship-based books.
Chetan Sir’s – ‘The girl in room 105’ has already become the
most selling book on Amazon and also stands at the top in various lists. The
most important is – it really deserves it. It is one of the best pieces of
writing Chetan sir has ever given. Every character that Chetan sir has used in
the book is so lively that it seems like, a real story is going on in front of
our eyes. The teaser trailer shows the storyline of the novel and gives
butterflies in the stomach to know the entire story. ‘The Girl in room 105’, obviously
as the name suggests is a strange story of a girl, who lives in room no 105
in a hostel. Along with this, as the tag line of the novel says “This is not a love
story, this is an unlove story” makes the title much deep and indicates something
uncommon and much more exciting.
One of the best things I found in Chetan Bhagat Sir's novel is, every
word of his writing is somehow somewhere related to day-to-day life. Either he
is talking about the most sought-after institutes of India, or he is taking the
really important issues in consideration. It never feels like we are reading a
fictional novel while reading his novels. It feels like, yes there would be a
girl or boy in real life, named xyz and she or he will be going through the
same situation in real life. The way Chetan Sir give details about even the smallest
things in his novels, are the perfect reason to hold on with them. The way
Chetan sir explains the beauty of a girl is something ineffable. He explains the
beauty in such a way that forces us to fall in love with the fictional
character. The way Chetan sir add virtual sound effects in his novels makes
his novels no less than a complete movie with all the high-end effects. The way
he strings Humour at the appropriate places makes them more relatable and much interesting.
Chetan Sir, you are a huge inspiration to everyone in the
country and especially youth. I have listened to most of your speeches which are available
on Youtube and it perfectly shows that you aren’t only, one of the greatest writers
of India but an amazing motivational coach too. Your speeches are no less than
a tight dose of motivation and inspiration to everyone out there. I sincerely
want you to keep moving forward and get every success you have ever wished for in
your life. I haven’t got any chance to meet you or see you outside the screen.
But it has been my biggest wish and it will forever be mine. And I am sure, I
would definitely work very hard to get your autograph one day.
Let me give you a brief about myself. I am Anant Vyas.
Currently pursuing Engineering and living in Ujjain. As most of the engineers
do, I am having much more interest in writing, playing guitar and singing. I have written about 60+ poems, mostly on
love and relationships. I hope that someday, I would be sitting next to you in an
IndiGo flight 6E766 HYD-DEL and tell you my uncommon 4 yearlong love story. 😉
