…and the economies will fail, global markets fall hard, innocent civilians suffer, kids go orphan ,wives widow, and decades-long developmental highs will go sedentary lull.
Even when the unfortunate war between Russia and Ukraine isn’t yet concluded, and both sides are facing a severe blow to their valuable resources; seeds for another potential war between two Middle Eastern powers are now being sown, with the global powers watering them well with war-profiteering.
Israel is already managing conflicts from multiple fronts and is roiled in a full-scale war with their arch-enemy, Palestine. Adding on to their misery, the Shia majority nation has now locked horns with the Jews, and this time it seems that this war’s cloud isn’t going to get cleared soon – in fact, it will burst and bring torrential rains of blood and grief.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, Israel isn’t going to get much affected no matter how fierce offensive Iran lodges against it. Being one of the strongest militaries in the world in terms of defence technology and intelligence, being a nuclear-capable country with a decent arsenal, and being in the good books of the world’s leading power, the USA – the imminent war doesn’t seem much difficult for Netanyahu.

However, Iran must not be considered inferior at any cost. Despite being a non-nuclear capable country and being in the worst books of the USA, the Islamic country led by Ebrahim Raisi has immense potential to create catastrophic waves for any country, no matter how powerful.
In a world with over 190 countries, it would be gullible to think that the non-nuclear capable powers can’t cause much damage in case of a war. If a nuclear attack could claim tens of thousands of lives, a non-nuclear could claim equal, if not more, depending on the severity of the attack and the type of weaponry used. Any country not on good terms with the US doesn't feel vulnerable anymore thinking there's no chance that they’ll be abandoned in the global arena. In the present scenario, call it a blessing in disguise or what, almost every country (the biggest being Russia) that isn’t in a cordial relationship with the Biden administration, not only is ardently ready to lend those countries in need a shoulder but also willing to hold their hand, and hustle in the battle alongside them directly or indirectly.
From allegedly assassinating Iran’s top nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh to their core military commander, Qasem Soleimani, Israel and the US have given gravest injuries to Iran in the near past. Facing bloody atrocities and crucial agreements left in limbo with the US exiting the high-stake nuclear agreement (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – JCPOA), Iran has been fuming for quite some time. And ultimately this last week, the dormant fumes emanating out of Iran went violently active and smoked the entire world when the Iranian consulate was attacked by Israel in Syria.
Considering the latest developments, we can say that this war is far from over. As for the global powers ‘restraint and peace’ mostly take the pillion, while ‘aggression and retaliation’ take the driver’s seat. Major Western and Middle Eastern powers have no major issues keeping their hands soaked in blood as long as the economies and weapons industries are thriving. This relentless pursuit for power and territory will eventually capsize the entire humanity in the deluge of doom. Adding on to the iconic dialogue from Nana Patekar’s, Krantiveer "Almighty was overwhelmingly elated after creating humans, little did he know that these two-legged innocent-looking creatures would go on a killing spree and cause nothing but destruction in each other’s lives.”
