What is Wrong with the USA? The Trump & Musk Saga

When the to-be President of the undoubtedly most powerful country in the world, both economically and militarily, intimidates and makes fun of the sovereignty of a full-fledged country, Canada; threatens to buy out well-developed world's largest island, Greenland by money or otherwise; and sends similar message to the world's one of busiest trade routes, the Panama Canal, shockwaves reach to all corners of the globe.

All of the above certainly doesn't pose a flourishing picture for the futuristic world. As none of the above countries, Canada, Denmark and Panama (including their allies) will let the US materialise its wild intentions that easily. In the worst case scenario, the above absurdity of Mr Trump will rage a global war that'll eventually turn out to be way deadlier than any of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Palestine/Lebanon, or the Syria's.

France and Germany have already questioned the 'misintentions' of the POTUS, while Canada and its outgoing PM, Mr Trudeau have categorically rebuked all the banters around making the country 51st state of the US. These ill-thoughts of expansionism won’t just let NATO fall apart, but might also set the ball rolling for a formidable World War 3.

Irrespective of being the President of the US, one can still never be this determined in giving wings to such terrible plans, unless he's got the backing of someone as mighty as Elon Musk. The multi-billionaire, the world's richest man, the global business tycoon, and the owner of the Tesla group, the X, and the SpaceX who's constantly ruling all the wealth charts is working as the dearest partner in crime for the President.

From playing the same foul games with the chancellor of Germany and the PM of the UK and taking their governments by a storm, the filthy rich guy is out there free and unafraid, providing unconditional support to the assassination attempt survivor.

No matter how internally broken or full of social/economic/political-lacunae all these victims are, name shaming them publicly, tarnishing their reputation, and oppressing their sovereignty is a big red flag in geopolitics. Trump's and Musk’s mismanagement of the global world order would severely haunt the entire humanity, and would bring further misery to the already lamenting global economy and climate.

As the French author, Voltaire aptly quoted - ‘with great power comes great responsibility’, these overly confident partners must keep their nerves under control, or else be prepared to become the US’ Trudeau someday or other.
